Position Summary

The Automation Manager leads the execution and delivery of automation initiatives under the Director of Engineering & Automation. This role includes direct management of automation engineers and is responsible for delivery quality, performance management, and technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage automation engineering team members.
• Oversee automation design, implementation, and optimization.
• Establish coding, testing, and deployment standards.
• Ensure delivery timelines and performance metrics are met.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to align automation efforts with business priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement in automation frameworks and processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• 7+ years of technical engineering experience.
• 2+ years of direct team leadership.
• Strong background in automation frameworks and scripting.
• Experience operating in MSP or managed services environments preferred.
• Strong coaching and performance management capabilities.

Work Environment & Travel

Remote role. Up to 15% travel may be required to support engineering planning sessions, cross-functional collaboration, and operational reviews.

Reporting Structure

Reports to the Director of Engineering & Automation. Manages automation engineering staff.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
