Position Summary
The Senior Director, Cloud Services is responsible for the strategic leadership, scalability, and operational excellence of cloud services delivered to customers. This role provides senior-level oversight of cloud service delivery, operational support systems (OSS), and business support systems (BSS), ensuring services consistently meet or exceed defined service level agreements. The Senior Director partners closely with executive leadership to align cloud services strategy with business growth and customer outcomes.
Mission
Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure cloud services are delivered with exceptional availability, performance, and SLA compliance while driving automation, scalability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
– Provide senior leadership and strategic direction for cloud services and operations.
– Own accountability for availability, reliability, performance, and SLA compliance.
– Oversee incident, problem, and service fault management at enterprise scale.
– Direct and optimize OSS and BSS platforms.
– Lead cloud infrastructure strategy across compute, storage, and network platforms.
– Drive automation, standardization, and operational excellence initiatives.
– Guide long-term capacity planning, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.
– Oversee deployment, provisioning, and lifecycle management of cloud services.
– Partner with executive leadership on cloud services strategy.
– Lead and develop senior leaders and managers.
Required Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
– 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in cloud or managed services.
– Demonstrated expertise in cloud computing platforms and service delivery models.
– Deep knowledge of enterprise cloud architectures.
– Strong executive communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
– Experience leading large-scale or multi-region cloud organizations.
– Strong financial and commercial acumen.
– Track record of operational transformation and automation.
Key Relationships & Scope
Senior leader within the Services organization with enterprise-wide influence. Partners with executive leadership, engineering, security, and infrastructure teams. Engages with strategic customers and partners on service performance and outcomes.
